Dr. Manan S. Shukla finished his medical school at the NHL Medical College in India. He completed his residency in general surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology and practiced for five years in Vasu Surgical Home. Dr. Shukla came to the United States in 1991. He started his career in research at the University of Chicago. He has published papers regarding thyroid cancer and has also contributed in the thyroid chapter in the textbook of Endocrinology edited by Dr. L. DeGroot.
Dr. Shukla did his training in internal medicine at Christ Hospital, affiliated with University of Illinois, in 1993-1996. After his time in Illinois, he practiced internal medicine in North Dakota. Aside from practicing internal medicine, Dr. Shukla also performed surgeries such as tonsillectomies, appendectomies, hernia repair, and infant deliveries which included cesarean sections. He is also experienced in endoscopies that include EGD and colonoscopy.
In 2001 Dr. Shukla moved to the Twin Cities. His practice of internal medicine also included office based procedures such as skin lesions, cortisone shots, stress tests and also managed the care of patients in hospitals.
In September 2007, he has decided to start his own practice at Maple Medical Center which is located at 9825 Hospital Dr. Suite 105, Maple Grove MN 55369. Dr. Shukla is also affiliated with Mercy Hospital and the North Memorial Hospitals in Robinsdale and Maple Grove. |
